cubis architekten consists of the civil law partnership of Saban Yazici and Michael Verheyen. The origin of the office is the interdisciplinary working group "Atelier Arch" founded in Hamburg in 1995. The office owners met in 1991 while studying architecture in Hamburg and worked in various renowned offices during and after their studies in addition to their joint project work.
The experience gained by the individual partners in leading positions in various offices forms the basis of the joint work.
